「The lessons that I´ve had with Sheryl laoshi over the past few years have been wonderful, and I look forward to our lessons each week. She is a very conscientious teacher, who carefully tailors her lessons to address my strengths and weaknesses. I´ve particularly appreciated that our lessons have focused on speaking and listening comprehension. The lessons that she prepares for me are incredibly interesting, and I love having the opportunity to discuss lessons that focus on a variety of interesting topics that lead to thought provoking conversation. As a remote student who is juggling a lot of competing priorities, I especially appreciate her flexibility and patience with my rather slow pace of learning, and her willingness to circle back to grammatical concepts we´ve previously covered when I still haven´t fully grasped them. When I visited Taipei last year, I was shocked to find that I was able to hold real conversations with people in a way that I never was able to when I was studying Chinese at University. Classes with Sheryl laoshi have been wonderful, and I cannot recommend her enough to any student who´s interested in studying Chinese.。」
