Still passionate about teaching Mandarin after 20 years — a teacher who truly loves what she does!
Through years of teaching, I have found that many learners:
• tend to underestimate the importance of listening input
• lack enough and optimal input to reinforce what they have learned
• rarely correct their own errors
• often rely on limited learning strategies
Therefore, I will focus on:
• Abundant input through both listening and reading
• Revisiting practice
• Developing self-correction awareness
• Applying Oxford’s language learning strategies
Most importantly,
I know many secrets to mastering Mandarin and I will reveal them in class!
